The brand name Zündapp is in the hands of Mr Otmar Muther in Nüziders, Austria. He also owns http://www.zuendapp.eu/ and also markets the Zündapp bikes.
He has ensured that the Fantic Caballero RC50 / 80 models from Italy formed the basis of the 2010 Zündapp Racing factory GS 50 and GS 80 models. These off-road models have a chrome molybdenum frame, Marzocchi front and rear suspension, Dell`Orto 26 Racing carburetor and a Tomaselli steering wheel. The engine is a Minarelli P6.
The Zündapp Racing factory GS 50 and GS 80 are a Fantic Caballero with a Zündapp jacket and Zündapp badge.
