In the new insurance class of 27 hp Zundapp had developed the fantastic KS350, also to compete with the Yamaha RD 250 and Honda CB 250. The KS 350 had 27 hp at 6600 rpm and 6 gears. His top speed was at 145 km / h. The water-cooled machine was modern and quiet for its time.
Serial production was planned for the year 1978, but was rejected for cost reasons.
Zündapp did not give a type number to the KS 350. Officially it says in the papers: "Prototype". You sometimes meet him at events.
