Jubileum model KS50
In 1967 it was exactly fifty years ago that Zündapp GmbH produced its first motorcycle; the type Z 22. To remember this occasion, a special Jubilee model was launched on the Dutch market in early 1967, the 517-05 liste 2 Super-Combinette de Luxe. With its 3-hand switched "266" engine, 19 inch wheels and fully chromed tank, this is now a sought after model.
This Super-Combinette de Luxe Jubilee model with type designation 517-05 liste 2 is the first in a long series of models with a 517 frame in the Netherlands. The tank existed longer, but then in painted form for model 515.
In Germany the 516-03 in 1966 was already produced with a completely chrome tank, but this was not yet a 517 model. The 517-02 liste 1 was also a German model and was not sold here in the Netherlands. The 517-02 liste 1 models that drive around here were later imported.
