A 3-hand shifted Zundapp 540. No cast aluminum frame, but a frame of tubes. Newly designed casting wheels, but with the familiar 278 engine. No fan hood for forced cooling, but a generously sized, wind-cooled 278 cylinder. The 3-hand version with type number 540-19 / CS-50 had an impossible coaster brake. You sat, as with a bicycle, with your feet 180 degrees against each other. Can be easily transferred to a foot brake.
